CUTE LITTLE YOUNG ONES

Oh it's Saturday and i'm not feeling okay...my legs are painful due to that walk for a cause that was held yesterday. It was my first time to join such activity...and...wow! it was really fun! I enjoyed looking at those babies and kids... So instead of sharing my own photos i wanna share you their photos.

The youngest...i think he's a month old...

So cute with her baby pink dress...

Tired of walking i guess...

Real cute...as if she knows what's she's doing...

Enjoy with her scooter

Walk with their pet...
Aren't they cute to join the pink marathon? Well, it was such a nice day walking with fathers, mothers, sisters, and kids for a cause. Most of the participant are white...and few arabs, filipino and indians. And there was one survivor who participated also....and she's a filipina.

REASON FOR BEING IDLE

My Sweet Serenity has been idle for how many days now...because i was busy with Couples Corner weekly topic to my other other blog, Our Lives Together.

But for the update of what's happening with the renewal of my visa and my health. Well, the other day, together with my boss(as i was expecting that he was still authorize to process any visa application to the Department of Immigration and Residency) we went there to apply for the renewal of my visa...but then when we we're called and upon checking our documents...the arab lady in the counter told us that only the sponsor can go there to apply for that. It was for the reason that when the immigration card was renewed by the other partner my boss that time was not in town so only one signature was there. So now, we have to wait for that partner who is in contact with the sponsor to come to either ask the sponsor to process for it or change the immigration card.

About my health... am a bit okay now. I wasn't feeling that bad anymore with the medicine i am taking everyday....

HOW TO APPLY NAIL POLISH

Well, aside from my daily online routine of visiting/updating my facebook, friendster, multiply etc....i make it sure to watch some beauty tips or anything that is quite interesting.

So today after checking all those sites i am registered and before doing my job at work i tried to check about how to apply nail polish. Inspired checking it coz i just had my nail polish last night, i want to check with it if am doing the same thing to get a better and neat one. And as i am watching it......hmmmm... we're doing almost the same.

WORK RELATED DILEMMA

Finally our license was released last thursday...but first let me share what happened that day. Oooh! I went to Department of Economic Development for three times just to know the status of our application. The last time i went there i was instructed to go to the ladies section where i was told that i need to go to Dubai Maritime City office to take their approval...but instead of going there (i was afraid they won't entertain me like what happened last 2007 coz i don't have the DMC ID) i called them first and ask for the best way of taking their approval and i was told that i can have the approval right that time by just giving them the transaction no. coz they can do it online.

So then, i went back to Department of Economic Development ladies section (what's good in Arab Countries is that they have a separate desk for ladies in all government offices and banks) thinking that would be the last procedure but to my dismay the arab lady told me to go upstairs and take for the receipt and come back to her to pay. Okay fine, if that was the next thing to do......Gosh! Again i was trapped in a queue of hundred men from different nationality. I have waited there for 2 hours with hungry a stomach since i have not taken my breakfast.

That's the trouble when you're the only employee! You do all the works even if it's not stated in your contract.

Now i have to wait for another 2 days to process my labor & immigration application because i have just applied for system activation of our new license. Today is the last day of my labor card but i can't apply for a new one coz i didn't have my medical yet....i might have it tomorrow. With that for sure we will be fine for the delays of renewal!!! Don't know how to tell my boss about it....

COMMERCIAL LICENSE

Four days from now, i should start arranging the renewal of my visa which i don't know if i can do it or if our trade license would be ready that time. I need to do it a month before the expiration but if the release of the new license would be delayed so that means my visa renewal would be delayed also.

We have applied for the renewal end of last month but the processing from the Department of Economic Development started only last Oct. 5 which untill now is under process.

Had so many calls to the E-services asking for the status of our license but they said the same info posted on their site.

Hope few days from now it will be ready...Inshallah

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MA!

With all the mess that are happening now, I don't know if you would be celebrating your birthday with a peaceful heart and mind.....but i wish you will even just for today.

If only i have all the means to take you out from that miserable life that you are experiencing since then...i would have done it long before. I feel so sorry for you Ma, at this point of time you shouldn't be having such kind of life anymore. You have suffered enough and i guess u're right...you have done more than enough.

I know i wasn't good to you before but i guess it ends when i promised to give my siblings a better future by helping them attain their goals in life. It may not be enough to ease all the pain that i have caused on you...but atleast through it i was able to show you how much i love you.

Thanks for all the patience, love and understanding Ma. Sorry for all the crazy things i did that makes you cry and sorry for all the bad things i told you.

I wish that with the sacrifices i've done and still doing till now for our family...i hope i have make it up on u.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MA! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

COLORS CLOSE TO MY HEART

Can you name what are those colors close to my heart? Oh! I guess no need to ask. hehehe

Hmmm...let me share what About.com says about this two colors...

Calm and Cool

Blue is calming. It can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly. Almost everyone likes some shade of the color blue.

Nature of Blue

A natural color, from the blue of the sky, blue is a universal color. The cool, calming effect of blue makes time pass more quickly and it can help you sleep. Blue is a good color for bedrooms. However, too much blue could dampen spirits.

Culture of Blue

In many diverse cultures blue is significant in religious beliefs, brings peace, or is believed to keep the bad spirits away.

Blue conveys importance and confidence without being somber or sinister, hence the blue power suit of the corporate world and the blue uniforms of police officers. Long considered a corporate color, blue, especially darker blue, is associated with intelligence, stability, unity, and conservatism.

Cotton Candy and Little Girls

Pink is a softer, less violent red. Pink is the sweet side of red. It's cotton candy and bubble gum and babies, especially little girls.

Nature of Pink

While red stirs up passion and action, studies have shown that large amounts of pink can create physical weakness in people. Perhaps there is a tie-in between this physical reaction and the color's association with the so-called weaker sex.

Culture of Pink

In some cultures, such as the US, pink is the color of little girls. It represents sugar and spice and everything nice. Pink for men goes in and out of style. Most people still think of pink as a feminine, delicate color.
