Photo from hereIf most Filipinos rejoiced last week for Manny Pacquiao's victory, today is another reason to rejoice coz Efren Penaflorida won the CNN Hero of the Year last night at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
I voted for him the day he was shown on TFC, so now i feel like i was a part of his victory also. I am preparing for our dinner when my hubby's cousin called me telling that Efren Peñaflorida named CNN Hero 2009. Feeling not contented on what i have read from Yahoo, i search for more sites stating that he really won....and yes he WON.
I feel so proud of him. I hope there will be more like him in the Philippines.
