I was given a salary increase after 2 years.

Enjoyed the fireworks and night bizarre of Dubai Shopping Festival at Bur Dubai Creek Side

Loved the cold weather of winter season

Still can't let go of the pain....infact it's getting worst than ever.....came to hate myself for hating them so much.
Planned to arrange and prepare pangit's coming to Dubai which my friends opposed.

March

Shifted to a new flat in preparation of Pangit's arrival. Alone in one room for 17 days.

April

Sponsored Pangit to come to Dubai

Pangit found a job which he left after two weeks since he found a better offer from other company

Celebrated 3rd wedding anniversary (first anniversary together) at Japenggo in Burjuman(suggested by Ina Jeanette) and bought new wallet as gift to ourselves.

Had our swimming at Jumeirah Open Beach with ate Helen and other people in the Palace, Ate Norie and her room mates

Celebrated Pangit's birthday at Black Canyon Restaurant in Oud Metha with Josette & Jeanette

Had our night swimming at Jumeirah Open Beach

Went to Dragon Mart with Ate Norie, Tatay Basher, Manuel, Nikki, Grace, Dennis, Macel, Ate Susan, Michelle & Pangit

Pangit gave me Baby Buknoy as a gift from Oman

Pangit’s residence visa was released

Sis was terminated from her work

Enrolled again for another ballroom dance lesson (Rumba & Salsa) but again I wasn’t to finish the course.
Forgot to great my mom on her birthday
Had my shopping galleur again….sent package to the Philippines

My sis got a new job

Been to Mamzar Beach (first time to wear two piece swimwear)

December

Spent Eid Holidays at Dream Land Aqua Park, Um Al Quwain

"Once a family will always be a family"

The spirit of the Sisters of Mary School will always be with in our hearts and minds so no matter where we are, the graduates, we will rekindle that spirit.

As much as we wanted to gather the graduates here, we tried to organize a group that will make us feel that we are still a family. It requires a great effort especially for the officers like me to gather them all considering our schedules but once you saw their faces in every gatherings you will feel blessed and happy.

Last friday we had our Christmas Gig at Zabeel Park, Karama, Dubai. Among the gatherings that we had that was the most happiest i guess. We had our Exchange gift, picture taking and of course we talked about our plans for the group.

So here's my "High School Days" photo. I was a freshmen here and it was the first photo that was sent to our parents after a months that we came to the Sister of Mary School to study. Actually i was with Sister Mercy on this photo and its a whole body picture but it was damaged by the typhoons that washout our house.

Anyway, have you ever imagine yourself having a very short hair like this? I had this haircut for 3 1/2 long years and i remember i was in second year when i had a one inch bangs as a punishment for being disobedient.

Would you believe i cried when i had this haircut? Since young i was having a very long hair and i can't accept that they have to cut it as a rule. Then as the days past i've learned to accept it coz 4000 students had the same short hair as mine.

So I wanna ask my ate's from our alma matter to post the same topic with your highschool photo: Ate Arlene, Donna, Jeck & Rachel.

SIMBANG GABI

Attended the first simbang gabi last night at Saint Mary's Church. The opening program for the lighting of Big Chritmas Tree was still on going when we came.

I forgot to bring my camera last night so this photo was taken last year.

This year's Christmas Tree looks almost the same from the previous years. As usual, hang on it are wishes which are written on a styro foam either shape with stars, bells or socks and of course the lights.

GOLDEN BOY VS PEOPLE'S CHAMP

The most awaited fight of champions!

I love you Manny! You're my man! Oh my! I never imagine i would feel so nervous with his fight. I'm about to stop watching on the 2nd round but when Manny starts to use his left hand and with the cheers of my boxing enthusiast flatmates, i felt like there is a chance for him to win the fight vs Dela Joya.

I wake up early morning today not to watch the boxing fights in Pay Per View on TFC but to prepare my hubby's food and things for work. But when i see my flat mate Erwin watching the other fights before Manny i got interested to watch as well rather than to sleep again.

I am expecting he will lose this game but Manny proves that he can and he did.

SHOT ON THE SPOT TAG

Was tagged by Niko last week and since i was busy for the past days i got to do it only today.

So here are my photos:

Looking so haggard today (that's why this photo is taken at a distance)! Get up late this morning, around 7:45 am....my office timing starts at 8:30 am and i have to travel (by bus) 45 mins - 1 hour to reach my office... No shower! (ewww!) Just brush my teeth and wash my body.

Almost a months that i'm not wearing my office clothes. I feel more comfortable with my jeans and blouse and my jacket (it's winter time here now).

Am sure i'll be late, so i take a cab. Reach my office at 8:15 am. Prepare my breakfast; coffee, one banana, 2 loaves of toastes bread..bring it to my desk and eat it while reading niko's blog.

My boss left to Iran last thursday so he left my desk with so many documents to be filed and some notes, check to be cash, payments to be done...etc etc.

I guess no need to tag anyone again.

HOLIDAY ESCAPADE

December 2, 2008 was United Arab Emirates 37th National Day and it was declared as holiday for private (1 day) and public sector (2 days)...so aweek before, it was planned (by 311'rs) to spend the holiday at Dreamland in Um Al Qwain.

Excited as I am, Vanessa spent the last two nights searching for her swim wear. Infact, we've been to Studio R, Women's Secret at Burjuman Center but ended up buying 2 pieces of two piece adidas swim wear near Lamcy Plaza.
