DUBAI SILHOUETTE SKY

My instructor in Photography once told us that here in UAE you can only witness a beautiful silhouette sky starting mid of October till end of February. So to prove what he said i took some photos of the sky from previous months. I don't know if my photos will really justify what he said.

I've watched it so many times on SNN (a kapamilya showbiz news) how they simply raid the celebrities bags and even read it many times on bloggers site how they shared what's on their bag. Nobody has really tagged me but i like to do this...hehehe

So here's my brandless bag worth Php 750.00 only which i bought near my office... the same shop where i used to buy my shoes and previous bag.

• Susen Wallet with atm & credi cards, id's & few dirhams ( hehe)
• (Pink Pouch) Foreverliving lip gloss, maybelline lip shinner & eyeliner, penshoppe eyeshadow & blush on, johnson face powder, a comb & herbench body spray.
• (Another Pink Pouch) Facial Hanky pack tissue, Seba Med anti pimple gel, hair puller, USB, decongestant and antihistamine for my allergy.
• Keys, Mobile & Ballpen
• & My Sony Camera

HAIL STONE SHOWER

I was watching teleserye "Tayong Dalawa" last night when suddenly it was disconnected. Then a friend of mine called me informing that there was a snow fall...asking if it was raining in our area also.... i told her "NO"...then a few seconds later i heard thunderstorms and when i checked it on the window...it was raining so hard with snow like particles falling at the same time.

I was so glad that atlast i saw a snow fall (i thought) but then my flat mates told me that it was not a snow instead a hail stone. ok fine whatever!

So then what is a hail?

Base on Wikipedia Hail is a form of precipitation which consists of balls or irregular lumps of ice (hailstones). Hailstones on Earth usually consist mostly of water ice and measure between 5 and 150 millimeters in diameter, with the larger stones coming from severe thunderstorms.

I'LL GONNA MISS YOU MY FRIEND

A months time... a friend of mine is leaving for good maybe...things will depend on the economic status of the world but clearly she told me that she planned to go to Taiwan instead of Dubai. Am sad:( maybe because i would lost someone who understands me from all the miseries and bad experiences i had here. Definitely i would miss that everyday talk over the phone. On the other hand am glad because she could have enough time for herself while waiting for her baby to come.

Take good care of yourself and your baby when you reach home dear. Pretty sure you will enjoy your pregnancy period because you will be pampered with so much care from your family. Try to update me every now and then…and share me all the things that a preggy woman feels and experiences…I might have a baby soon… so I will ask some tips from you:)

KEEPSAKE FROM IRAN

Today i'd like to thank my boss wife (Mam Shila) for bringing me a presents from Iran. Like always she would bring something for me everytime she comes to Dubai. Previously she used to bring me that Iranian sweets but today she gave me pistachio nuts.

I remember i started to love pistachio nuts when i had this friend of mine who used to ask me to go with him to buy this nuts to be given to his girlfriend. What i know it's expensive compared to an ordinary nuts like peanuts or any native nuts of the Philippines..... not like here in Dubai where you can buy it anytime you want at a very cheaper price.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF FR. AL

I'd like to thank Mark Anthony Cijas for sharing movie clips of Fr. Al's life, works, death, and the process of his Beatification and the Canonization. Thanks Bro! I was about to cry while watching this video.

Being one of the proud graduate of The Sisters of Mary School makes me always realized how great is the Lord for sending us Fr. Aloysius Schwartz. Yesterday was his 17th Death Anniversary and like many other students & graduates of SOM all over the world, I'd like to thank him for the wonderful life he had given me while i was there. He died before i entered the school so i haven't really seen him in person but through the Sisters who taught us what Fr. Al wants us to be made me feel how he really cared for us his children. I owe him, The Sisters of Mary School whoever i am now. Thank YOu Fr. Al.You'll always be in my heart. I Love You.

3 MONTHS BABY BUMPS TUMMY

Recently i've been complaining about my tummy, it's getting bigger each day and i hate it. Some friends were already asking if i'm pregnant, but i'm not. Early this year i have noticed that even at a short distance walk i easily got tired and hardly take a breath. Then when i have checked my weight i've learned that i gained almost 6.6lbs. Well, actually it was not something to be worried so far coz it was just a matter of 6.6lbs unlike others they worry about 120lbs and above.

Gaining weight is everyone's wish for me especially my mom. So i was glad that finally i have gained weight but having my tummy getting bigger each day irritates me. I can no longer wear some of my clothes and i have to buy new one's which is out of my budget. Now i understand that it's really expensive to gain weight.

Blamed it to my laziness for having this 3 months baby bumps tummy. Been too lazy at work. I could not even stand when i have to reached something from behind instead i would used my chair to get where i want to. I would only stand if i have to take water from the pantry or go to the comfort room. Then at home, since my hubby came to Dubai i started to eat a lot during dinner then right after i would sleep. Morning time, no stretching, no exercise nothing. The only exercise i have each day was a mins of walk going to the bus stop.

So last week i started to have that banana diet in the morning then less rice / carbs during dinner. Instead of fatty foods i always prepared that vegetable salad at night and more fruits. I just hope it will be helfpul.

I wish to have that same falt tummy on the picture shown below. I guess i really have to discpline myself now. But honestly it was the first time for me to worry about it coz i was slim for my whole life but not now.

SICK DURING THE INTERVIEW (EXAM)

I don't know if its the weather change that triggered my allergy (Airborne Allergy). Almost a weeks that i have experienced this mild itching ang sneezing and just the other day i had this extreme allergies reaction. It started with sneezing, then runny nose followed by clogged nose. Then yesterday it becomes worst, I have cough & cold and fever. I wanted to take a leave just to have some rest but that would be very impossible so for two days i was at work just to hear myself coughing althroughout the day.

Then early yesterday i had a call from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, asking if it's ok for them to forward my cv to recruitment. (By the way i had my online application 6 months back and that i didn't expect them to call me) And i said yes, then he told me that they might call me within 15 days for an interview. Then around 9 o'clock they called me again, telling that i am scheduled for an interview today at 9am - Dewa Head Office. Oh my! I told myself!! I'm not prepared for this especially that i'll be having an interview from one of the government company. Nevertheless, i felt great knowing that my CV or application is shortlisted. Considering the number of applicants who wanted to join this company, i'm glad that i was one of them to attend the interview. I heard from a friend who had and interview last week that there was an actual (excel & powerpoint) and written (memo writing) exam. So then i tried to refresh myself from excel and powerpoint application and browsed the internet for a memo sample since i was not familiar with it coz i'm not really doing it here in the office.

So today i wake up as early as 5:30 to prepare myself for the interview. Fills my empty stomach with little food, put on a light make up & wear my most presentable (conservative - as required) business suit. My plan was to take a bus insted of a cab but as i am walking going to the bus stand i decided to take a cab so since i don't know the place yet. Sadly the cab driver doesn't know the place also do it took as more 15 mins to reach there.

Exactly 8:30, i am already at the meeting room waiting for the interviewer. A minute later, a muslim indian lady came and ask some few question. I thought there will be a tough interview question but then she told us that we will have an actual and written exam for the day then if we are shorlisted we will be called for a final interview. I was actually worried that maybe at the middle of the interview i will cough but then there was no interview.
